What does the "Nonzero Sum" name mean?
To address significant challenges, it is very helpful (although not always easy) to set aside zero-sum thinking. "Non-zero-sum" is a term from game theory which can be used as a shorthand for a perspective that favors collaboration over competition -- a lens through which most problems are seen to have mutually beneficial solutions.
To the extent that we can find and utilize solutions that "add up" to something greater than what we started with, we'll be making meaningful progress toward positive change, at every level of scale. All of the projects and materials provided here are dedicated to that effort.
